This year the focus of the conference is to explore and provide alternatives to the UN\'s Agenda 21 Program for Sustainable Development. The objective of Agenda 21 is to integrate environmental protection, economic development, and social equity - under the management of global authorities. It has had profound influence on public policy, including teaching methods.
In hardly a generation, the UN\'s \"education campaign\" of the value of \"sustainability\" have permeated public schools and pushed aside the principles of personal responsibility and individual freedom.
As the author of five books on education policy, Ms. Eakman is a leading expert in the field of exposing the agenda to manipulate child behavior in America\'s schools. Her latest book, Walking Targets: How Our Psychologized Classrooms Are Producing a Nation of Sitting Ducks, (Midnight Whistler Publishers, 2007), further establishes her expertise in alerting Americans to how the basic techniques used to psychologically assess children and their families is essentially a knock-off of marketing and advertising. These techniques are used to predict attitudes, including political reactions-called \"worldviews\"-and have been used by the Department of Education to collect data on kids and their families.
